Earlier this year, Senator Saliu Mustapha, through the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), facilitated the construction of a block of two solar-powered classrooms with furniture and a store in Fate-Basin Junior Secondary school, Akanbi Ward IV, Ilorin South LGA of Kwara Central.
On Wednesday, 10th July 2024, the construction was successfully completed and delivered.
This project is one of many educational facilities facilitated by the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture. While some projects have been completed, others are still under construction.
These efforts are part of a broader initiative to complement the significant strides made by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in the state’s educational sector.
