Kaiama Local Government Area is in Kwara state, North Central Nigeria, and has its headquarters in the town of Kaiama. It borders Oyo State to the south and Niger State to the north, covering an area of 6,971 square kilometers and a population of 124,164 according to the 2006 census.
Towns and villages that make up Kaiama LGA include Gwanabe, Adena, Kemanji, Gwaria, Gbajibo, Kabaru, Bani, and Woro. The predominant languages spoken in these areas are Bokobaru, Hausa, Baruba, and Fulani.
Its major festivals are Gani, Zonkon Masquerade, and the Takan Dancers. Tourist attractions in the area include the Kanji Lake and the National Park.
